Healing gardens: 11 a.m.-4 p.m. on the second Sunday of the month through October at Stone Hill Farm, 37W249 Dean St., St. Charles. Come enjoy the natural woodland setting and perennial gardens. Admission is $5 per person; $10 per family; cancer patients are free. Donations of time/money for upkeep are welcome. The Healing Gardens are maintained and hosted by Deborah Marqui, who owns Stone Hill Farm with her husband, Buzz. Marqui leads day retreats, hosts Silent Saturday Mornings and is an authorized presenter of Centering Prayer. Walk through Roselle House and Garden: 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, July 20, at Roselle Village Hall, 31 S. Prospect St., Roselle. The Roselle Park District Garden Club hosts its biennial House and Garden Walk featuring two unique houses and seven gardens. Discounted tickets are $25 and can be purchased at or at the Claus Recreation Center, 555 W. Bryn Mawr Ave., Roselle, or Platt Hill Nursery, 222 W. Lake St. in Bloomingdale. Day-of tickets are $30, cash only, at Roselle Village Hall until 1 p.m. Proceeds benefit the Roselle Garden Club’s Youth Scholarship Fund, the Roselle IMPACT Garden and local community projects. Grayslake Greenery Garden Club — Garden Walk “Grayslake in Bloom”: Saturday, July 20, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Centennial Plaza, 147 Center St., Grayslake. Take a self-guided tour of eight private gardens in three different Grayslake neighborhoods. During the tour, meet the homeowners who will share their hospitality and gardens with you. You can purchase tickets online at or on the day of the walk from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Centennial Plaza. Tickets are $10; accompanied children 11 and under are free. Those who purchase a ticket will be entered into a drawing for prizes, and on the day of the walk, the ticket can be used to take advantage of special local offers.
